Ask Other Builders:

Before you purchase a new home, take a closer look at the advantages of owning an energy-efficient, environmentally-sensitive  Medallion Home. Remember to ask other builders the following questions as you determine which new home is right for you.

  • Did the National Association of Homebuilder's Research Center, the US Department of Energy and the Environmental Protection Agency name you Energy Value Housing Award’s Builder of the Year?
  • Do you go beyond Energy Star® standards, such as testing 100% of your homes for Energy Star compliancy, to ensure that I save money each month on my utility bills?
  • Do you build my home to stay comfortable year round with TechShield™ radiant barrier, blown cellulose insulation, 14-S.E.E.R. air conditioning system, programmable thermostats, and Low-Emissive windows?
  • Does your home feature mastic-sealed connections, the Key Sealing System™, custom weatherstripping around doors and silicone sealed windows to prevent unconditioned air from entering my home?
  • Does your home use engineered products such as fiber cement siding, Smart Trim™ fascia and trim and finger jointed wood studs to reduce environmental impact?
  • Do you use water-based paints and adhesives during the construction process so I can breathe easier in my new home?
  • Do your homes meet standards required for energy-efficient mortgage programs?
