The Medallion Homes design center is an entire showroom filled with imaginative ways to bring your home to life! Your design appointment is where you will get your first glimpse of your finished home.  So enjoy this time and ask any questions that you may have regarding design features in your new home.

Your design appointment is one of the most exciting aspects of purchasing your new Medallion Home.  Do you prefer casual chic, contemporary or traditional design?   Flooring materials, lighting fixtures, paint colors and other décor items will all be selected during this appointment. Our personalized and professional service with our Design Center Manager allows you the opportunity to make your home unique.

When is my design appointment?
The “ball gets rolling” shortly after you sign your contract with our New Home Sales Consultant.  Our Design Center Manager will contact you to set your design appointment as soon as possible.  This will allow time for questions and discussion before your options cut-off date that was reviewed with you by your New Home Consultant.  The Design Center is filled with many options and decorator selections, so you’ll need to allow yourself a few hours for your selections.

How do I prepare for my design appointment?
Preparing for your design appointment is essential.  Tour your favorite Medallion Homes’ model home; tour other Medallion Homes’ communities and write down addresses of exterior applications (brick, rock and paint colors) that fit your taste.  Tear out pages of magazines and catalogs for ideas and inspiration.  Taking these preliminary steps will make it easier for you and our Design Center Manager to select the perfect colors and materials for your new home. 

What can I expect during my appointment?
After introductions are made, and you have a cool beverage, it’s time to get to work!  Our experience has been that it’s easiest to work from the outside-in.  Since some of your exterior materials may be used inside, (such as your hearth on the fireplace) it’s important that the exterior color selections blend with your interior color choices.  Once exterior materials and paint colors are chosen, it’s time to move inside.  We are sure that you will be impressed with our wide variety of materials and selections for your home.  We’ll use your floor plan and elevation during your appointment, so you will be able to “walk through” your new home as you make your selections. Also, don’t forget that you are going to be living in your new home.   The beautiful white carpet may not be your best choice if you have “little ones.”  But rest assured, our Design Center offers so many choices that it will be hard for you to choose just one look!

Arrange for childcare.
We love children; however, you will be making important decisions that impact your new home and budget.  It has been our experience that our customers always find the selection process less stressful and more rewarding when they make other arrangements for their children.

About our Design Center Manager
We are fortunate to have a very talented Design Center Manager with over 10 years design experience.  Kelly Steele received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design in 2003 from the Design Institute of San Diego and she also holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California-Riverside.   Kelly has experience in many different areas of design.  She’s done it all!  From designing custom one-of-a-kind kitchens to several years experience working in new home design, Kelly is knowledgeable about all aspects of design (and budget!) and is eager to help you personalize your home.

Design Center Hours
The Design Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  We begin our last design appointment of the day at 3 p.m.  Our Design Center Manager will contact you directly to schedule your appointment.

• Turn Left at Camp Bullis and enter Crownridge

• Go through 2 stop signs and you can’t miss 6929 Camp Bullis Road on your Right
